I heard a rumour today that the code name for the Samsung Note 8 is “Baikal”. Which is apparently a very large lake.
I do love the idea of the Galaxy S8 + having a built in stylus but think that may hurt sales of their Note 8 Flagship. Maybe they could sell the S-Pen separately for the S8 + model?

I thought I read that it would be compatible, but not a built in slot. So you could buy one. The Note 8 will have a slot for an spen.

Doubt it, they said they will continue the note line, that there will be a note 8. But if the s8+ does get a stylus I wouldn't be against it as long as it had the same features as the note line.

I would think they would bring out the S-Pen with the S8+ because there are people out there probably scared to get the Note 8. Just a thought, hahahaha.

Hahaha it's just a thought you know the Note 7 people that think the Note 8 will blow up, they can have an S-Pen with their S8+ so they don't have to get the Note 8, lol.

Honestly, if Samsung includes S Pen or maybe N-Trig pen (or both) support, that it would give it a leg up. Samsung doesn't have to include the pen with the device. Just support it and then sell the pen separately. This seems to have worked for both Microsoft and Apple.

If Samsung doesn't include S Pen support, that won't be a deal breaker for me. I had a Note II and a Note 10.1 a while back and I wasn't a fan of the S Pen. The pen didn't feel right to me and trying write on a small (5.5") screen was awkward. I really like how Microsoft designed its Surface Pen. It feels like a real pen and is much more comfortable to use.

I just like the specs and the direction Samsung is going with its Galaxy S line of phones.

I've heard rumours it would be an accessory, I don't believe it, been checking out cases on Amazon and haven't found any that integrate a place to store it

I was hoping they would support it. The Note 7 pen was great, very comfortable and easy to use. I still have two. Oh well. They would be nuts to include it in the 8+ because there will be a Note 8 but to make it useable (and sell us one for a lot of money no doubt) would be great.Will believe it when I see it.
