I had a Samsung Galaxy S2 (way back in the dim mists of time lol 
). Great phone and I'm sure the S8+ is too.
But I'll never use the big companies flagships again because IMO they are criminally too slow with security updates and OS updates. I'll forgive them the OS updates but these days you need the most up to date security patches there are as soon as they become available.
