S9 Clock Style keeps reverting back

[Android Central Question]

I've tried to change the clock style on the S9 lock screen(not always-on display) so many times and it always remains the same. I've tried to make it the stacked style where it displays the hours then the next line it shows the minutes. However, it always reverts back to the standard clock. How to fix this?
