S9 data issue?

[Android Central Question]

I've had this S9 for about 3 weeks. Ever since I got it, it has had problems sending & receiving texts. I also cannot make calls. I usually get a "unable to send your message" error. This is very annoying, and has never happened with my previous Galaxy S# phones. How can I fix this?

Have you in the first instance spoken to your carrier about it?

Wipe it and set it up as new. It was new when bought? Try to not do any restore it cooy from backups or other device. Then test it out for a day.

And be extra cautious about what and where you install from.

Don't let your exchange period lapse with the issue present. Personally, I would get a new one by exchanging at the store. Make sure you wipe it clean and keep your old SD card.
