S9 drops call when connecting to Bluetooth

[Android Central Question]

Just got a S9 when I switched to AT&T. If I'm on a call and get into my truck and try to switch the call to the Uconnect system it hangs up the call. If I start a call when connected to Uconnect and try to transfer it back to the phone and exit the truck it also drops the call. Never had this issue with my s8 on vzw.
