S9+ Individual contact ringtones - no more option

[Android Central Question]

I've just gotten the s9+ and trying to assign a different ringtone to individual contacts. I've searched online and everywhere is saying to go to contact, details, edit, more, ringtone. Except on my phone it is only allowing me to get as far as edit. Once I click edit in a contact it only allows me to edit the details of the contact such as phone number and name.

Any ideas as to why this is and how I can change it?

Oreo, not the S9, eliminated that. But if you don't want to wait for the update Samsung is supposedly releasing that will add it back, SMS Popup will add it back now.

Yes you can. After you tap on edit, scroll down and tap on View more, scroll down and tap on ringtone.

yeah, it works fine right out of the box. The "view more" is a standard Android artifact; it won't show you everything about the contact right up front. It makes you tap that "view more" bit to see everything.
