S9+ > iPhone xs Max > xs > S9+

The well known issues around Samsung Android devices slowing down over time is widely know, spread and talked about. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my Android devices because I love some of the unique features and ability to customize my phone however every Samsung device I’ve ever owned has been lightning quick at first and then after a period of time begins to lag and slow down. There are pluses and minuses to both ecosystems.

that was my point... they're asking too much money for a bigger screen and a slightly better processor. dont get me wrong I bounce between the two platforms rather often but this time I just couldn't justify what I paid for vs what I actually got.

That’s how I feel exactly. I normally bounce around too and always have an iOS and Android device but opted not to upgrade my iPhone to any XS series phones. Can’t justify it either.

I have and use both. They are just tools. They are both exploitable security wise. They both break. One of the best things about Android is the competition of the marketplace to make the best phone. With Apple, you have 1 choice, take it or leave it.

There are things I love about both platforms, iOS is better in terms of some things and Android better in terms of others. Example, I love how I can customize and change up my Android devices, whereas I really appreciate the resale value I get out of my phones. Apple resale value is fantastic whereas Android devices not so much.

I also feel like you get more bang for your buck with Android decides, especially the Note series phones. You can buy a Note 9, Wireless Charger, Screen protector, case of choice and even an extra Spen for about $300-$350 less than a high storage XS Max where I live. To buy the Max and equivalent accessories you are spending about $500 more. Ridiculous if you ask me.

In Indonesia... The 512GB XS MAX is USD$1700...the 512GB Note 9 is USD$1000.
