Is this ur first Galaxy phone? I understand the need to vent, but at some point you just have to know what you r getting into.

Bixby - Turn it off completely. (Yes u can do that)

Edge Panels - turn these off also

High volume warning - supposed to change with Pie update.

Screen lights up when the battery is fully charged - put ur phone face down?

Bloatware - Its samsung.

AR Emoji - u don't have use this either...?

I've been sitting at the car dealership for 2 hours, playing with my S9+. After almost a year of ownership, I still LOVE this phone!

They are. Most can be adjusted in Settings. Some can just disable.

I turn off all of those except the Always On Display - my night clock to see the time. Otherwise Do Not Disturb.

It is better so far with Pie if you want to join the beta, use Samsung + app to do so...

Camera's Video Clip playback, endless looping.
No way to stop it. Tried everything under Three dot settings.

I totally agree on the high volume warning. I can't stand it! It could easily cause someone to get into an accident if they try to change the volume on their phone while driving and then have to dismiss that pop up message. Fortunately, it only pops up once per reboot of the phone. I've gotten in the habit of turning on my Bluetooth earpiece after a reboot and turning the volume up just to dismiss the pop up.

I think he's talking about, after you Record a few seconds of Video with the camera, preview playback is in a nonstop loop. unless you press the pause button. There's nothing under settings to stop the loop video payback.

Only true annoyance is that volume warning. It should come up one time then never again. Other than that I love this phone more than I have any other phone. I actually returned the Pixel3 XL to come back.

My only annoyances is I can't think of enough think to do with it, sure it has bugs like all android phones but I love it!

Got the phone in June. Annoyances to date are:

Samsung bloatware
Incredibly ****ty standby battery life.
Fingerprint recognition to unlock the phone is now slower. Especially after the phone has been idle for a while.
Some notifications dont come in until after I unlock the phone after it has been idle.
I have yet to get Edge lighting to work.

@karelj Dollar to a donut your settings are conflicting with an app and or you have installed apps and gave them permission to use resources needlessly. The fingerprint delay, poor battery life,and lack of notifications, inability to turn on the edge lighting all point to a Settings/3rd party app issue. Post a Pic of your battery /app usage chart and we'll fix you up .

Yes.. there is..
Just turn OFF the Preview

I admit.. Sam gives too many options to deal with ..
Why don't just leave them OFF as defaults
And let users turn them on as they wish ..

Battery app chart may be useless since I charge to 80% and recharge at 30-35%. That makes for a wierd battery/app chart report. I'll see what I can do the next time I charge it to 100%

So far, mine are:
-Not being able to long press and block a calling number
-Not being able to use the volume button to lower all volumes at one time.(Individual volumes can't be synced together)

Negative. The current battery usage chart will show up the reasons of your problem. Changing your charging pattern beforehand makes no sense.

Mine never had any, unless you count Facebook and similar social media crap.

Turning off Video Auto play.
Tried to turn it OFF via three dots settings / video player settings. And selecting Auto repeat off, Auto play next off.
Video still Auto plays. Is there another way to
turn off Annoying video Auto play?
