I'm on T-Mo band 4 in NYC, and I'm in the market to upgrade from my 6P at some point this year. Even though my phone just got April's security patch yesterday, I'm actually quite bored with stock at this point. Those of you with an unlocked S9+, have you noticed any improvement with battery life in terms of SOT and standby? I've seen some say that the phone learns your usage pattern and adjusts accordingly.
For instance, my usage entails voice calls, texts, streaming my music on GPM, browsing the web, watching YouTube and forums. I'm mostly on Wi-Fi, and I keep screen brightness at about 15% indoors, using a plain black wallpaper and AMOLED or dark themes in apps where possible. I don't do anything graphics-intensive, nor do I mess around with camera settings, since I only take the occasional point-and-shoot photo. Excellent standby is a must. Based on this usage, what can I realistically expect in terms of battery life with the phone? What kind of overnight standby drain can I expect?
