I love the fact that the android platform is customizable and more open but i picked up an i4s yesterday and if the i5 has 4.3 inch screen and 4g i might consider the switch. Also the battery life is amazing on apple devices.

For now with no 4g and a tiny screen i wait for my nexus.

I don't know about the amazing battery life thing. My wife has a 4 & is nowhere near what I would refer to as being a power user. Most of her usage is text messages, Facebook & Accuweather, yet her 4 is drained by the end of the day. I do far more on my Crapberry Curve & can go 2-r days between charges sometimes.

Why does that make you sad? I think it's nice that there are lots of attractive devices on the market. Get one you enjoy, and be happy with it.

For the record...the iPhone will never have a 4.3" screen....at least for the next few iterations. They'll bump it up to 4" and release propaganda about how 4" is the optimal screen size for a cellular device and how it "changes everything."

I think it'd be hilarious if we based a new Android Central Forums Thread "Meme" based on Sentrixs' post because it's hilarious.

I'll do one now:
Hey, so in iOS, to turn on 4G, it's really easy.. just go to settings.. and.........

oh.

I don't know why people think this is so funny. I agree that apple sucks for not having a removable battery. But coming from the Nexus S, GS2 and now going to Galaxy Nexus. Those 3 phones can't hold a candle to what my iPhone battery did. The fact at I had to buy extra batteries for these phones is the epic fail.

it's 2011, the batteries should last longer.

The iPhone does not have a stronger battery, it has a weaker OS that doesn't multitask or do any complex processing.

Yes, Apple did a great job with power management but is it worth it for accepting their one-size-fits-all mentality? I'll take an Android phone with a spare battery on the side, thank you.

I am not an Apple hater, by the way. I have an iPod Touch, my wife has an iPhone 4, iPad, and iMac. They are all fine but I refuse to accept the locked-down environment when it comes to my phone. That's where Android is my choice ever since HP killed webOS.

I just bought a 4s for my wife. I was setting it up for her, and I was driven crazy when I was forced to try to type in portriat mode with my large fingers. It absolutely cemented that an idevice was off the table until they make a larger size.

I'm device agnostic. I'll use what's best for me. But, I like to tinker, and being a large guy, the choice is obvious right now.

As long as Android keeps up with Apple or even is close I will stay with Android.

After a few charging/discharging cycles the Galaxy Nexus battery is a lot better than my past android phones. In fact I unplugged both my Iphone 4 and GN at the same time and they were pretty close. The Nexus may have been even better because I played with it a little more.
