safe mode?

cant seem to get safe mode to turn on? anyone have any insights?

When you long press Power Off, does the Reboot Into Safe Mode prompt appear? What happens when you tap that prompt?

I haven't used it in a while and just tested. Looks like now there is no prompt any longer. When I long pressed Power Off the phone automatically rebooted into Safe Mode

does not give option. how long is your long press? ive held it very long and phone just reboots to normal

I pressed about three seconds and it rebooted to safe mode

Thanks. I guess I never put my Z2 into safe mode. I thought there was still the popup prompt. Mine took about three seconds and then it just started to reboot automatically. The Safe Mode did appear in the bottom left corner of the screen, as indicated.

That's the first time I've seen Safe Mode accessed like that as well. I'm used to there either being a Safe Mode prompt when you long-press the Power Off onscreen button, or having to press Vol Down during the reboot process (on Samsung phones and certain others).
