safe temp. for battery on comm rom

what is a safe temp on comm rom..i watched a couple of videos on youtube, and i noticed the phone started to heat up a little..so i looked into the TSM parts and looked at the battery temp and it said 33 degrees C..is that a safe temp? dont want to fry the phone

My fascinate is at 35 C and runs just fine. You should actually get better battery life with a voodoo kernel because of the switch to the ext4 filing system. I would look elsewhere for the battery drain, some rogue app that is constantly running in the background or possibly a wakelock.
