Safe To Disable MeasurementBrokerService?

[Android Central Question]

I was wondering if anyone knew if it's safe to disable the Google Play Service called "MeasurementBrokerService". I have an app that is using it but the service accounts for half of the memory that the app is using which seems excessive. I tried using MyAndroidTools to see if I could disable the service but it doesn't show up under the app in question. I do however see the service running in the Google Play Service app.

Thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated. If more details are needed or anything is unclear please let me know.
