I finally got CM 10.1 flashed on my ROM but i didn't install the gapps, and now when i try to get to safestrap to install them it doesn't load the menu.... any advise on how to get it to load.

Are you sure safestrap is loaded? Why do you think it's just about loading the menu that has an issue? Have you tried to reload safestrap?
Well i have uninstalled it a few times and reinstlled it. i can see the safestrap on my apps page, and i gave it root promission with SU. i just cant seem to get it to load and the phone wont install gapps through the normal recovery menu. I am using CM 10.1 which is 4.2.2. idk if that causes a issue or not
