Sale on X2...

Saw this too. Thinking about it instead of replacing my Samsung Tab S4 with a S6.

Any regrets with it? It'd be my first CB. I'd still have a MBP as my primary laptop.

In case you're wondering about the X360 14 Chromebook that's currently on sale for $350, I have one, and it's excellent. You'll be hard-pressed to find a Chromebook with a Core i3, 8 GB of RAM, premium build, a backlit keyboard, and good sound for $350. It's supposed to get updates through June 2025, so still plenty of life left in it.

How is the app ecosystem compared to the play store?

Do you mean how well do Android apps perform on the device? I'm not a heavy Android app user on my Chromebooks, but the ones I've used work fine, including Kindle and games like Williams Pinball.

Yes. Not as bright as my Pixelbook, but still good. Viewing angles are not a problem, and touch response is excellent.
