Anyone know yet if we can use the same battery from the Dinc or Evo in the Bolt? Would be nice if so to have spares on hand.

Wondering the same thing, as extended 1750mAh batteries (same physical size as OEM) for Droid Eris / Inc can be had for about $40 on Amazon. I'd like to pre-order in advance once confirmed. I have a rooted Eris, so if we don't find out confirmation before hand, I'll know as of TBolt release day.

Idk it has the same milliamps as the MT 4G and seidio has a 1600mAh batt for that so Id def love to see 1750 for sure

man if this battery is the same size, that will mean i will have 4 batteries for this bad boy! awesome!!
2 tp2 batteries
1 incredible battery

I have a 3500mah, a 1750mah, and the standard 13oomah that came with my inc. I hope it's the same size.

im glad its not designed like the desire hd. the battery design on that thing is a total flop. no extended batteries for that phone.

I hope its not the same battery. I want this thing to come with a larger bat out of the box. The battery on the incredible is already bad. I am sure Lte will be a battery hog so this thing needs a boost.

LTE should actually be much easier on the battery life.

But of course since you're having to run the cdma radio at the same time it will be worse..... but supposedly after voice is moved over to LTE, the radio will be less of a battery drain than it is today with our 3.5g evdo..

I asked if the battery was the same size as the HTC Eris/Inc.

From WorldofJohnboy over at DroidForums who got a TBolt test unit today...

"Confirmed, the battery is smaller and fatter in the Tbolt."

Data is data. Data has to be processed and rendered by a processor into a graphic. More data means the processor works harder. LTE means more data than 3G. See the connection?

Just because you're doing something over lte does not mean it uses more data. The power efficiency of lte is higher than evdo. In addition, the increased speed of lte allows the radio to be active for a smaller amount of time.
