AC Question

Okay, so I have a Droid Turbo, the ballistic nylon kind. And every time I try to send a message, it keeps saying "Unfortunately, messaging has stopped," and takes me back to the messaging screen where I can see all the messages I have. The text I tried to send then says its still sending and I have to try two or three times before it will work. I deleted nearly all of my apps, turned my phone off and on again, and deleted nearly all of my messages. It just now started doing this and is beyond frustrating. I do not know what to do. I couldn't find any other people with this same problem. What do I do? I cannot respond to the question so I'm just looking for an answer, I'm using the original app, the default app, I haven't changed anything weird. I like my privacy so I do not want to have to go to a ton of weird outside sources.

Have you already tried clearing cache for the messaging app in settings - apps - all tab?
