Samsung A3 struggling to download an app from playstore

We got the Samsung A3 on Friday and Saturday we didn't have any problem downloading Whatzup and BBM. But when we wanted to download another app it keeps showing the blue download bar and when we go to the notification panel on the phone the download appear and then disappear again.

Now I have cleared the Cache I have taken of the background restriction, I even tried downloading a different app but it is still refusing to download. The phone have data and its connected to WIFI.....

Please assist.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the App Manager, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.
