Samsung A35 5G - Android 15 Update

I updated my phone to Android 15 yesterday & have a few questions I need answered.

1. Does anyone know what camera app Samsung installed on this phone?
I've tried asking Samsung, but cannot get an answer. I think it's the same I've been using since I bought the phone, but many of my settings have been changed & the app gives me no information about the camera.

2. I used to have the Side Button set to:
Double Press> Samsung Calendar
Long Press> Power Off Menu

But after the update, the Side Button automatically changed to:
Double Press> Samsung Calendar
Long Press> Digital Assistant (Google)

And now this damn Gemini message comes up:

I know I can change it back to the Power Off Menu, but how do I change it to the regular Google Assistant & NOT Gemini?

3. Using Google Messages, I've always been able to text pictures back & forth w/multiple family members in the same thread & have 1 going on right now, started last Friday. I tried to reply w/a few new pictures today (same as I always have) & now I get this message:
Messages App Error.jpg
I have NOT changed anything to the thread, but this message keeps coming up. Anyone know what could be the reason?

The Camera app should be Samsung's. Keep in mind that they may modify features and menus from time to time.

To change from Gemini back to Google Assistant, go to Settings>Google>Search, Assistant &Voice>Google Assistant>Digital Assistants from Google, and choose Google Assistant there. Be aware, though, that Google seems to be actively phasing Assistant out in favor of Gemini (much to the chagrin of many), so it's unclear how long this option will be available.

And what about the OP's #3 Google messages issue, B. Diddy? I wonder what's up with that?

Btw, those types of issues are exactly why I've stayed @ Android 14 / UI 6.0 !
And plan on staying @ 14 / 6.0 for as long as possible, where's there's none of that distracting AI crap always popping-up or interrupting or distracting or messing with things! 🙄
Have also blocked all the Microsoft CoPilot+ distracting crap in Outlook &c; just hope we can continue to block it... ad infinitum! 🙄

Oops, I missed that Messages issue. I would first make sure everyone in the thread is on RCS (including the OP). If they all are and this is still happening, then it might be worth starting a new group message thread and see if it works there.
