There was no category for my phone, so I'm putting it here. When I make videos on TikTok, the camera auto-adjusts the brightness. The room is dark, and I only have one light on. I also have the auto-adjuster turned off, but it's still doing it. The quality of my videos is getting ruined because it suddenly goes dark and then lights back up. It doesn't make any sense. I turned the brightness adjuster off, so it shouldn't be happening, right?

Hi, welcome to AC!

[I moved it from s5 forums to more Samsung forums]

So if you leave autobrightnes on and then manually move the brightness slider it won't stay ?

Welcome to Android Central! To be clear -- the issue is the autoexposure level of the camera, and not the autobrightness of the screen itself, correct?

No, that's not it. The autobrightness button is correct, but the camera keeps adjusting anyway when I make videos. However, someone else is saying that it's the autoexposure? How do I fix that?

Does that happen if you take a video with the main Camera app? If not, then it may have to do with the TikTok app itself. I'm not sure if there's a way to stop the camera from trying to auto-adjust the exposure. Send some feedback to the TikTok developer through the app's settings about this problem.

What about in other apps and stock camera apps difference happening?

Hi , maybe try opening back up see if something disconnected?

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be clear -- you replaced the screen yourself, or did you bring it to a repair shop?
