Greetings,
I just replaced my S10e with an S21, and I'm trying to get things working as they need to. I know that for some silly reason they removed the AOD brightness option, which is unfortunate. Most complain that this is too dim, and it might be for daylight use, but I have this on a stand/charger as my clock at night. In a dark room, the AOD is REALLY bright. The S10e was too bright, but nothing like this.
It's also super annoying that they removed the natural color of the notification icons, since I used to be able to tell at a glance what was there just by the color.
Searching brings me to the same solution repeatedly, and that's installing Good Lock, then LockStar. I did that, and I get the slider, but if it changes the brightness it's not enough to notice. I saw videos where people changed the brightness to min, then it was completely off. Mine unfortunately, never gets below the normal brightness.
UI- 6.1
Android 14
AOD- 8.7.99.11
Good Lock- 2.2.04.95
LockStar- 6.1.00.18
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rusty
