Samsung A52 bluetooth contact problem with Peugeot 2008

[Android Central Question]

Hoping someone can help! I'm now exasperated!
Changed from Samsung S8 Edge to A52....phone pairkng, calling, contacts all easy peasy....
Since changing my phone I try to make a call from my car, the message says 'there's no number attached to that contact.' Contacts are visible in the list..
Tried so far...
Paired and unpaired
Reset to factory settings
Ensured sync contacts is checked
Reset the Bluetooth from BPAP from v1.2to v1.1 and back again, applying in between
Dont know what else to try, but it's ruining my new phone experience..
Any ideas for a non tech person??

What did you reset -- the phone or the car stereo system?
