Samsung Adaptive Charger cable

I need to buy another micro USB charging cable for my S6. Will any cable work with the quick charge or does it require a special cable?

Most cables should work. It's the plug that allows fast charging.

Any quality USB cable should work. Note that for the Fast Charging to work SOME longer cables might not do it (they add too much impedance to throw the detection circuit off and the Fast Charger switches to 'normal' mode). If you have a cable from another device you can try that first.
