Does this feature only work for the stock app?

There are a few different apps with generative AI features. AFAIK the photo editing AI only works with the stock photo editor, the voice transcription AI feature only works with the Samsung voice recorder, etc. But you can use writing style and translation features on any app as long as you're using the default Samsung keyboard.

But yeah for the most part, you do need to use default Samsung apps.
