Samsung Alpha Glitchy

My alpha is barely a year old and it crashes, shuts down and freezes and I'm thinking it's just the new operating system... it has also caused my battery to drain excessively even after I got a brand new one. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.

Tried what b daddy advised and seems to have worked a bit but not significantly... Anyone else have any ideas?
