I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition - Wifi) and I was thinking of rooting the device. My main aim after rooting the device is to uninstall the bloatware that Samsung installs on their devices. Speaking in all honesty I won't want to be deleting everything as I'm sure I'll find the odd app useful (WatchON as the remote feature is nifty) but I want the space on my tablet for other apps and files.
So which apps would you recommend deleting and which ones take up the most space. I'd prefer you list what you would take off and I'll sieve through it all to see which apps i'll delete. Thanks !

If you are going to do that make sure you know how to use Odin to restore the phone to stock. Deleting system files might cause updates to fail.

Doesn't rooting negate the ability to get updates anyway

It shouldn't as rooting to just like giving yourself Admin rights on your PC. A custom ROM or Kernel would not root. Well it hasn't on my Milestone 2 or Xperia S.

oh ok, I just want to remove the bloatware Samsung includes in Touchwiz in an effort to maybe run faster and more crucially save some storage space

Deleting bloatware also stops the ota , your best bet is get the latest rom available for your device and then you can delete some apps you don't need but before you start deleting loafds of things check on the internet for a list of 'safe' apps to remove.....
