Samsung C9 Pro Sound Problem after Oreo update

[Android Central Question]

When my earphone is not connected all the sounds work properly and there is no lag in videos. But when i connect my earphone (it is not bluetooth it is a wired one) no sound can be heard on any music apps even samsung music app and videos start to play in slow motion and without sound on youtube, twitch, Netflix and prime video and so on. What do i do about this?

Same problem happens with my c9 pro. Do one thing when you plugin headphone go to music player play song then lock the phone from side button. I do this, once your screen locsks you will hear voice in ear phones. Then play anything its working well. But when you plug out and plug in again same problem. Then do same thing and its working well. There is some bug in update. Even with videos I saw samre problem on youtube. But once I tried this everything is working well.

Also first I checked my headphones on laptop they are working well. And this trick happens as I was checking somethin on pc phone screen gets locked and music starts playing then I tried again it works.

Definitely they need to fix it any one know where to submit that they have issue with update

I'm facing the same issue with OREO update in my C9 Pro and faced the same when C9 got N update, during N update I did factory reset and it worked fine after reset.

Hope the same technique shall give solution to this problem with OREO too, but I haven't tried it yet

Try disable UHQ upscaler in samsung music.
It work for me

Same issue was there with my phone too. Just lock and unlock the phone while its playing, then the earphones will start to work normally
