Just curious, anyone using Samsung care with your s25 ultra?

Have been buying Samsung phones since the Note 2 and have never used Samsung Care.

I bought Asurion with my S23 ultra Ana it was ok but biting on the others.

Yes I feel like no matter how careful I am with my phones I don't want to have defective unit or something go wrong with foldable where a regular phone with a screen protector in a case and I'm good.
Understand. BTW, off subject but are you still enjoying the One Plus?

It's my favorite slab phone hands down without a doubt. If Google could do what they are doing oh my.. OnePlus 13 is quick, it handles everything perfectly and battery life is insane. I can top off the phone while I shower to 100% without blinking. It has customization and the camera is surprisingly not too shabby either. Reception and paired with the OnePlus Watch 3 which goes for 6 days is a perfect daily. Highly recommended

So glad you are enjoying it. I toyed with the idea after discussing it with you and venom and almost pulled the trigger on it but Samsung gave me $400 off with no trade in on the s25u and my wife is extremely sick and I just don't have the time to learn a new OS and besides all her medical apps and numerous s-note info on her through the years were just too much to switch and possibly lose. Besides I am getting long in years (71) and learning new things doesn't come as easily as they used to. I do appreciate all the info you and venom gave me and it was enjoyable seeing you both so excited over the OP13 phone. Again, glad you are enjoying the phone.

I will say one thing, I can get 10 hrs SOT and the phone last me all day without recharging. So that's a plus, and everything i needed switched over very easily and running a smooth as butter.

Thanks again for your thoughts on Samsung Plus.

You can't go wrong with the Samsung phones. I truly enjoy OneUI and totally understand. You have a solid phone there I know many people are happy and I know I would be too. All prayers and my best wishes to the wifey she's in good hands with you I'm sure of it .

I use the insurance thru Verizon. I swap between the fold and the s series and this makes it so both are covered depending on which one I'm using on the line currently. Prevents me having to pay for coverage on 2 phones and if you get just the theft, lost it accident insurance it's cheaper then Samsung care

Thanks for responding. Sounds like a good thing for you. I have T-Mobile, may see what they have. I also have allstate insurance on house and car. I got insurance for my phone once through them before I think they bought Asurion. Only place I can take it around here is with UbreakIfix, which isn't too bad.

This came up from the T-Mobile site I'm not sure on the price it depends on the phone I guess. But it's a good idea obviously to check all options in case you want to go in with one.

I would not file a claim for a phone under my house insurance. That counts as a claim and leads to cancellations and higher rates. I've had several insurance agents say don't file a phone claim. Also insurance companies treat claims like credit reports and report claims, and when you try to get new homeowners insurance they will see previous claims filed for cars and homes from previous insurance companies.

Most carriers sell phone insurance.

Yes, I agree, At the time I had Asurion I belive allstate used them but it did not go under my homeowners policy. I am not sure what they are doing now. I believe they are handling phones now under there regular allstate name. I may just do like others have said and not use any insurance at all. I am retired and not out and about much anymore so I should be good. But thanks for responding to this. Hope you are doing good "trucks" have enjoyed your posts in the Samsung forums for a long time.
