Samsung Ceramic phone (S10+)

Samsung offered a ceramic (vs glass) phone during the S10 series launch. Was it not effective? useful? was it cost prohibitive? too heavy? Am just curious.

We can only guess why they didn't use ceramics and future phones, but I think it's safe to say it's a combination of lack of popularity and cost prohibitedness.

Well, I don't think the costs were actually prohibitive... It's just that glasses cheaper and Samsung is greedy lol

Essential phone was ceramic too. The thing was a brick and part of the reason it didn't have wireless charging. The ceramic was not conducive to magnetism.
