I ordered an S25 to try it out on May 23rd. When it arrived, I didn't like the camera so I sent it back for a return. Samsung received the return on June 12th. I've been going back and forth with Samsungs customer service and they sent me an email today saying the fedex box was empty when they received it. I've never had an issue mailing anything through FedEx so I didn't film myself putting the phone in the box. What can I do here? I tried the emailing the CEOs office already and they're the ones that are saying the box was empty. I don't understand how it took them over two months to respond to me if the box arrived empty on June 12th. This is the first thing I've ever bought on Samsungs website so I had no idea how bad their customer service was. Does anyone have any advice? I bought the phone through Affirm so it's not like I can do a chargeback on a credit card.

This happened to me but like 5 years ago. And I wasn't the only one, people were stealing. They said the box was empty.
Call, Be Calm, and Nice, hopefully they escalate and refund you.
I never understood pictures or filming stuff as proof but it's better then not having it...
and it be nice if trade-Ins could be done at BestBuys/local stores

I continue to video and photo all cellphone shipping. I have also purchased TAMPER indicating tape which I use when sealing boxes. I don't use the box the new phone came in, using a box saved from something else, i.e. Amazon,

ETA: Try to ship on a Monday or Tuesday to preclude the package sitting in a shipper warehouse over a weekend.

I was able to do a trade-in at the local att store. They checked the phone, packaged it and shipped it. They also received the new phone so I can pick it up there. No worry about anything getting lost, stolen or rejected. Though it was convenient, I will never do it again since when I got my first bill, they stuffed the bill with stuff I never asked for. I hate calling att customer service, and had to do it several times.
