Samsung.com Orders

I hate that when Samsung doesn't send some accessories in the original order, and later use FedEx home delivery which takes for ever to deliver. I have one FedEx home order which is in transit for close to a week now and another accessory with FedEx shipping label created, ready to be picked up but still sitting in Texas and not even have a picked up scan.

This year has been more disaster with Samsung/FedEx combo than usual. Unfortunately there is nothing Samsung customer care can do as well and we have to patiently wait for FedEx to do their job which isn't something to bank on

I've been setting mine up last night and a bit today. It's very fast and snappy. I decided to build it from scratch and not transfer anything. Contacts came from Gmail. Photos downloaded from icloud. That's all I needed to transfer. Very impressed so far.

Just checked with CS my phone is "created" and order so far seems on schedule. Ordered 2/9 still cancel button still has original date says delivery by 3 /8.no charge or tracking yet.the rep gave me email to contact.says my phone is at warehouse once ready to ship I will get charge on my card, and email from Samsung with tracking information.this is for my phone the accessory got moved up to 3/15

Yeah I called Samsung as well. The rep was nice and sent me a email so that I can keep in contact with him. Everyone seems to be working from home. He said the estimated date is still March 8th for it. He did say that the phone is the only one on the list that doesn't have a date on the main listing. I did tell him that dates have changed for the other items. The live ear buds, silicone case and the extra strap say March 22 now. It's changed a few times for those items. That's also why I'm worried because everything else in the order has been delayed...

I know I said I ordered my phone from Verizon... but Samsungs response to my letter to the VP has me hot...lol. just more BS lies.

Same here. I ordered on 2/9. I guess we'll know in the next day or so. You think they'd have to ship it out before Sunday? so we'll know very soon.

Just checked my order and my S22U still has a April 8th delivery date and now my Galaxy Watch has delivery date of April 26th instead of May 10th. So I'm heading in the right direction.

I dont get it. The phones are available in stores but pre-orders are delayed by 1 month? I thought pre-ordered were always delivered before or the day of release

S22 Plus 4/15 date. FedEx now shows label was created with expected delivery of 4/7, so its shipping early!

Are you using FedEx manager to see label or track by reference ?

FedEx manager Under manage your deliveries.

Should see a status of your deliveries.

There isn't a single preorder where phones are not backordered and delayed well past launch depending on when and which model you pre-ordered.

Store and Samsung.com inventory is different. In general there isn't a universal inventory system that'll take orders in FIFO queue. It varies depending on where (which retailer), when and what (model/color/storage etc) you pre-ordered. Always has been that way and it's the same for any product from any company. There are many parameters that go into inventory fulfilling.

Also, there will always be some portion of store inventory of some base configuration models regularly flowing in since you don't want to have stores open and not have any phones to sell for months.

That response was much less helpful than my experience with the Executive Case Manager I got.

I read the letter and now I have questions about my order if anyone can clarify for me. This is my first time ordering from Samsung. The part I am not understanding is about the carrier activation they describe in that letter. I originally went unlocked (for first time), but since ATT only coverage that works consistently for me where I live and was going to arrive sooner than unlocked, I ended up choosing the ATT phone on my re-order. I paid the full price (minus the discounts they gave me) for phone rather than opting for a payment plan option. When that letter mentions that to complete order of Verizon locked phone, Verizon must be able to activate the phone, is that tied to whether you opted for a payment plan versus paid in full? Or the type of data plan you have? I don't even recall giving Samsung my cellular number except during the arduous customer service experience.

I have an ATT phone/line now (long overdue for an upgrade) and was going to activate phone to my current number/account when I got it. I had not communicated this to ATT. I knew I was going to get other items (tablet, buds, watch) and figured getting from Samsung would be an overall better deal on front end (and it was except for missing phone). But now I am concerned the same thing will happen to me with ATT not activating phone giving Samsung a reason to cancel yet another order with no feasible recourse. Was not an issue with original order that was unlocked. Is there something I need to do or can do to decrease risk of same thing happening to me? If that something I need to worry about?

Appreciate responses ahead of time! And hand in there noordzy, like nijarette told me, don't let Samsung steal your joy!

I reordered a green 512 this morning and saved almost 200 from my original order. Granted I'm not getting a watch4 but I felt like it was still worth it. I went unlocked this time (I usually flash unlocked firmware anyway) to keep Verizon activation out of it. Figured I'll give it one more shot with Samsung and if it doesn't work then best buy it is for future devices.

Can you flash unlocked software on a carrier phone? I know you can flash carrier on unlocked
