I really don't think it's Samsung holding them. My order on samsung.com shows delivery tomorrow. Why would Samsung show tomorrow, and not Friday if they put the hold?

Sidenote: Their planes must be flying slow! Mine left Indy at 5:00PM. It shoulda made it to Memphis by now. LOL

I just got an email from Samsung Premium Care congratulating me on getting my new phone along with my IMEI number. This is the first time I recall finding out my IMEI before actually getting the phone itself.

I'm not sure of the qualifier to receive emails. May have gone out to all Samsung account holders, not just current Galaxy device owners. Anyone can sign up for a Samsung account.

Thanks - I have a Samsung acct now. Never bothered to open one when I was ordering SSDs by the handful -

For those of you who ordered Whitestone Dome protectors direct and are waiting and or expressed concerns about not receiving your protector, I have been in contact with their social media department and I paraphrased their response below....and please don't shoot the messenger.

"The website orders are pre-orders and they do not have the inventory to ship out until tomorrow. (The listing says that and when they are shipping... but they understand the concerns.)

With regard to Amazon:
Amazon receives its inventory directly and they start shipping right away.

Whitestone will be fulfilling the pre-orders starting tomorrow for the single packs and then beginning of September for the 2 packs.

The phone releases on the 23, so their goal is to have most of the orders fulfilled by the time the customers receive them.

They are already in the process of emailing those customers and they are going to help them to the best of our ability."

I just got an email from them thanking me for purchasing their products and asking me for my experience and for a review on Amazon. Mine won't be shipped until 9 September according to their site. :-/

I'll be using the flimsy screen protector that comes with the phone for a while.

Pixel phones have the IMEI number somewhere in the order process. I had mine before I've gotten every phone.
