Samsung.com Pre-orders/Shipping Thread

I just talked to Samsung. She said that my item is scheduled to be shipped but my information just hasn't been updated yet. She also said she can not guarantee that the phone will be delivered tomorrow. I'll have to wait for the tracking info that may or may not be emailed to me today. So ordering from Samsung is on the list with best buy of places I will not order from again. On 5hat note I'm going to bed. Y'all enjoy your new toy. Hopefully I'll get mine eventually. Good morning and good night ( I'm a night shifter).

Well, that's certainly a definitive answer! Hope you awake to tracking info.
 
Mine is at least Out for delivery! Can't wait. Think I'll do a clean install though. It takes forever but I like to start out fresh!

Enjoy the 10+ my brother from another mother. Mine is on the way and will be here today,
I've noticed this forum is much more orderly today, must have been all those 21ers who screwed things up.
Us 22ers have set a high bar for the 23ers.

I picked my phone up from Walgreens. It wasn't a bad experience, just a little weird. I was told that Fedex didn't deliver until 6:00pm, but saw the box with my name on it in the Fedex cabinet. In their defense, I did show up as soon as I saw the delivery was pending, and it hadn't showed up in their system yet. I'm not sure I will use this way again or not.

The phone is a beast, and transferring everything from my S10+ was fast and easy.

Good luck to all those still waiting, I've been there. It's not unique to Samsung, other companies do the same thing. I've preordered so many phones over the years so I'm familiar with it, and it doesn't bother me anymore. It just the way it is, and I'm not sure why.

Apple, from my experience; is the only company who can pull off a mass pre order and shipment process with little issues. I'm sure they've had issues also, but I don't ever remember pre ordering a phone from them, and someone who orders later got their's first.

As long as you're up early enough to order, you got the phone on launch day, sometimes before. People who order later are usually waiting awhile, and it truly is first come, first serve.

I held back on saying anything because I figured I would be unlucky this time and wasn't getting my phone until September, didn't want to bring anyone down LOL. keep in mind it's not the end of the world, and you will get your phone sooner or later. Hopefully by the time I'm typing this that most/all of you have your phones.
 
Finally my phone made it the local pickup point... Can't wait for 430 I'm outta here like fred Flintstone... Yabba dabba dooooooo
 
MY CC was charged ONLY after it landed in Seattle. Not when it left samsung, not when it was picked up by FEDEX...when it landed.....
 
Xfinity (supposedly can't BYOD on an existing line) I heard wi-fi calling may not work when you just swap the sim but everything else seems to work. Phone still shows up in their system though as my Note8


I can tell you WiFi calling works for me on Verizon .

I just tested it both ways ( Incoming / Outgoing )
