Where did it say it's backordered? It shows available on their website for the ultra. The 23\S23+ is showing March for the exclusive colors, but regular colors are available.

Most of our orders showed backorder on the app and website showed 17th. I bet you'll get it before the 17th, probably Wednesday

I didn't see you get $70 instant credit. I don't know if it's worth the headache you're going thru for that though.

I've been around poking my head in. I wasn't planning on the S23, but I caved and ordered the Lavender Ultra. Should be here tomorrow. Trying to temper my excitement. Trading my Fold 4 for it because I rarely use it. Mostly been using my Pixel 7 Pro.

I was at best buy yesterday and looked at the S23U. The screen is pretty flat, but probably not flat enough for the ones that want all flat. It does have a box design also, not as curvy compared to the S23+.

I did call Samsung after my husband got his and they said mine will be here on 2/14 even though it says 2/15 on Fed-Ex. They said maybe they were coming from different wharehouses. Which the 14th is my Anniversary and these were our presents so I hope it's correct. I guess I'll just wait and see. But now I just got an email that says hope you are liking your S23 Ultra please send in trade in by 2/27 and I don't even have it yet but I'm guessing that is 2 weeks from my Fed-Ex date of the 15th so I called back and the recording said the 16th but the guy I spoke to said by the 15th so who knows. Did anyone elses Fed-Ex say the 15th but they got it earlier. I don't know what my husbands originally said to begin with.

You won't feel like you're getting the exact same phone if the curved screen is a issue for you.

From what I read and seen if you're expecting night and day difference you're not going to see it coming from the S21 or S22. It's just like any other yearly upgrades. If the camera features are important to you then that's where the main improvements are. Yearly upgrades are rarely big steps and this time is no different. Most of us on here have a bad new phone addiction. I honestly don't know why I'm upgrading to it besides addiction.

I have to agree, however, those with the Exonos chip will see a pretty big improvement from what I am hearing.

Well aside from the camera for me the new processor the Gen 2 and I heard better speaker and mic so we will see once we all start getting the phone. And they say better battery.

reasons to upgrade annually:

- latest firmware/software, more hacker proof or whatever malware proof

- swift response for whatever one is doing, as all phones get slow and laggy after roughly a year

- superior camera as you already said

I agree except for the phone getting laggy and slow after a year. It does, but if we would do a FDR on that phone it would be snappy again. Phone that is FDR gives us a fresh start like a new phone.
