Samsung.com Pre-Orders

Finally got an email from UPS that it shipped, looks like it will be delivered on the 14th? Which is kind of odd that would be 3 day delivery I guess? Either way happy to get it before the 17th.

My order from Samsung finally picked up and set for a delivery of the 15th.
Still 2 days early than the official release date.
The T-Mobile gang getting theirs early are tied down for 2-3 years so they can have their fun. ;)

Mine has arrived! I am setting it up now! Will report back later. I am using Smart Switch to bring stuff over from my Fold 3. I cleaned it so it should be quick. :D

Okay, Smart Switch worked for a lot of things, but it still feels like I have a lot of setting up to do.

I'll report back later, but here are some initial findings so far (this is coming from a Z Fold 3):

1. This phone is FAST!! I mean "HOLY BALLS" FAST!! Not just the phone itself, but I have WiFi 6 (waiting for my WiFi 6e gear to arrive) and things download and install at lightning speeds compared to my Fold 3.
2. 5G UAC here is even faster than on my Fold 3.

One of the biggest things for me to get used to is going back to such a small screen compared to my Fold 3. I'll get used to it, but damn.

If it makes anyone feel any better, FedEx still hasn't recieved my phone. They only show the label created and waiting for the package to arrive at their facility. Ordered 2/2 sky blue 1TB unlocked from Samsung. They still have it "in processing."

After I posted this earlier, I decided to sign up for text alerts, because I was sick of checking the app and websites for updates. And as of 30 minutes ago, FedEx has received the package and is still on schedule for delivery on 2/15. I'm looking forward to a new device after 3 years.

Keep in mind that the S23U has 14% higher resolution than the Fold 3, despite having a physically smaller screen. So just hold it a little closer, and you'll be able to see more stuff at once than on the Fold 3.

And watching videos is so much better on the S23U because of the screen aspect ratio.

Does Samsung require a direct signature this time around? Usually they do with new phone delivery. But I don't see this requirement now on the FedEx package description.

Huge update, just got message its in transit and expected delivery on 2/15 :)
Got the Lime 526GB Unlocked version.

@AspenQn: i know, it's sad. like many here, i bought unlocked S23 Ultra through samsung.com.

my phone's package has sat in Fort Worth TX for over 24 hours! why aren't they moving it?

Phone has been sitting in Fort Worth, sucks I couldn't get it today. Oh well, let's hope I get it on Monday.

If they keep it for just a little over a year they will pay what we are paying with the low trade INS. The balance will drop about $400 the first year. So, they aren't locked in, and can pay off balance and be around what we are. Just a thought.

Edit..I was thinking more on this, you can only figure in the payments the customer pays is $60 for a year. So they would have to go around 18 months to break even with what we pay for the unlocked. I know this isn't exact numbers, but close.

I watch videos just fine on the fold 4. If I want to watch quality videos or movies I will do so on my TV not a phone. When I'm on the road I'm not that concerned about aspect ratio, nor do I care if I'm using S series of fold that's me though

I got a FedEx shipping notification that a package from Samsung is to be delivered Monday Feb 13th. Hopefully it contains both the phone and the earbuds. It is coming from Irving TX.

Yes me and my husband both bought unlocked from Samsung and I signed up for text notifications I have nothing mine still says in process delivery 2/17. We ordered on February 3rd or 4th and I've already been charged on our credit card. I can't believe a couple people are already getting theirs today. I guess I should expect the 15th maybe.
