AC Question

The browser has stopped recognizing stored bookmarks. If I type in the full web address it goes to the website but it only opens the default home page. In my case I have the default home page to be blank. Any assistance is welcome. Have tried using Chrome and that kept loosing my bookmarks. So I removed that app.

Welcome to the forums. Try clearing cache for the browser. Go to settings>apps>swipe over to all apps>scroll down to Browser, and click on it. Click clear cache.

Thanks for your suggestion. I should have clarified - I am referring to a Tab Pro 12.2 default Internet Browser, and yes I have used the setting, app manager (all) and scrolled down to Internet and cleared cache. No luck. My bookmarks are displayed clearly but when I select any one of them the browser reverts to the default home page. I have also cleared the memory, cleared defaults, shutdown and rebooted the tablet. No luck so far. I had originally tried Chrome before changing over to the default browser. With Chrome I kept loosing all of my bookmarks. Any thoughts welcome.

An update to my lost bookmarks problem. I had to send it in for Samsung service. Have received the tablet after repairs and the default browser seems to be working okay. Have used it for a week now. I called tech support to find what was wrong and the only answer I got was the system had been refreshed and system software upgraded. Maybe this will help someone.
