Well TVoutServer files in BIN which is promising.
I'm downloading Vibrant OS dump do some cross checking on file content.
Worse comes to worse modification to rom can fix if sprint shorted us on Tv feature
I registered on this forum just so I can get more information about this issue since I am thinking about getting the Epic 4G and really want this TV out feature through the 3.5mm jack. Anybody have any updates or news about this?
Ouch dude. Did this ever get sorted out? Did anyone figure out how to get video out from the Epic? I'm currenctly running SFR 1.2**WARNING**
Do *NOT* buy the EPIC 4G TV Out cable from 1800mobiles.com they claim to be compatible with the EPIC 4G and it's *NOT* compatible and they will not refund all your money afterwards. I paid for both shippings (to me and return shipping) and they partially refunded my money, lost $15 in a 3 cable order.

I've always wondered about this. I thought the Epic was DLNA compatible, but my PS3 doesn't see the phone. Is there something I have to do to activate DLNA on the phone itself? I haven't seen it in any of the settings. No TV OUT for EPIC... DLNA is the only thing you get...(Dont have an Xbox or PS3 so I can't benefit from this)
I bought an EVO 4G, still haven't switched it to my account but I've been playing with it's HDMI output (using HDMwIn, CM 7 and godmode kernel) works pretty darn good, can't complain.
