Samsung Edge S7 - No "Phone Visibility" in connections

[Android Central Question]

There should be "Phone Visibility" showing in "connections" between "Bluetooth" and "Data Usage" It has disappeared. Can you help?

The same thing has happened to me. The option disappeared just a few minutes after i got two S10+ last week. I did network and factory reset, nothing helped. Samsung even remote controlled and couldn't figure out.

I figured out what the problem was after hours and hours of trying everything. You have to install the SmartThings app. As soon as you do that, the option reappears.
