Samsung email app sending duplicate email

I want to use the Samsung email app cause of the extra features but I noticed that it shows duplicate emails of the sent message. I don't know if they're getting duplicate messages or just showing duplicates from my phone only. But when I check on Gmail it doesn't show duplicate messages. Hope I'm making sense. I have disabled Gmail.

Any suggestions?

Here I am a year later and have got this problem on both my s3 and tab2 when using built in email app.
The emails are sending continuously, and eating up all my data.......
Did you get any solution to this?
