Samsung fast wireless charger causing wall adapter to beep

I recently got the Samsung fast wireless charger. It lists input power as 5 volts, 2 amps. The USB to AC outlet adapter that comes with the Galaxy S7 edge is 5V/2A. I used that with the cable the phone came with to power the wireless charger. When I plug it into the wall with the wireless charger, the AC adapter itself starts to beep. The phone is not beeping, the charger is not beeping. The adapter is beeping. It's not a continuous beep but it is frequent at regular intervals, very high pitched very quiet. But it's noticeably there in a quiet room if your close to it. It is not present with lower amperage adapters. But I would like to use the fast charging feature without this annoying beep. Is it an adapter problem? A charger problem? Is it normal? Is the adapter engineered to warn you of something like this? Thanks in advance

Maybe you could use your own samsung adapter or another new 5V 2A adapter to see if the same problem?

Did you ever find a reason for this happening? I have the same Samsung wireless charger matched up with a Samsung adapter (EP-TA20EWE) with an output of 5V/2A that makes the same low-tone beeping and has been driving me 'beeping' crazy for months now...

alanrichman1999 hasn't responded here in few years so might not hear back , which Samsung you have ? Is the beep coming from wireless charger or phone?

It is the charging adapter itself that beeps (mine is model EP-TA20EWE). It beeps regardless of whether a phone is charging on the wireless charger.

Where did you purchase this from ?
Never heard a wall charger beep

Yup, that's the one - it's an original charger that came with one of my earlier phones.
It's not a solid beeping noise that you would expect to hear from a speaker (more like an electronic buzz) Also just as alanrichman1999 mentioned, it is continuous and not too loud but if the room is quiet then I can clearly hear it. Surprisingly I managed to record it pretty clearly - I'll try upload the audio if I can...

Nope not any more - the adapter and wireless charger are both quite a few years old.
It still works perfectly but it's just that noise that's quite concerning. I'll try it with a different adapter again, but I just need to double-check that the output voltage/current is suitable for the charger

Tell you truth I be very concerned about it making noise , I would stop using it and purchase another one

Yeah you're right. I'm sure it's not supposed to be doing that. It's interesting that this was also seen by someone else before and I just wonder how common it actually is. But yeah, I'll definitely find another adapter that doesn't do it.

They not supposed to make noise and that would concern me as something going wrong and not safe , stick to any name brands on Amazon or original. Your welcome!
