Samsung fit-e won't connect

[Android Central Question]

Hey all,

My Samsung fit-e won't connect to my phone.. the galaxy wearable app cannot seem to find it. Although the band says that it is controlling my phone... I see nothing happening on my phone. Since the app is not working, I can also not turn off the device anymore.. please help.
