Stolen phone

For all those who kindly suggest that I take a photo and video of the process of packing the phone.

That doesn't do any good, because you can easily claim that I packed the phone and Take the photo and video then I took it out and closed the box again and then went to leave it at the shipping company.

After everything I have researched and discussed, I think the best way would be to first use a security tape that if it is open it will be known that it was violated in the shipment. And second, use more discreet packages that don't scream that there's a phone inside.

What about opting to insure the package for the full amount of the contents? I'm not sure, but it probably doesn't cost an arm and a leg. That way you'd be protected one way or the other.

Seems to be an Fedex issue ever since they switched to Fedex for awhile. They then went back to shipping with UPS and sending back with Fedex. This year it was shipping and sending back with UPS. Seems to be Fedex issue. UPS haven't heard any issues.

Do it in one video take, at the courier.

fedex is the worst with theft. I box and video everything at the FedEx store, and I keep the video rolling all the way till I hand it to the agent behind the counter. That is proof that it was in the box and given to them.
I returned a phone to Spectrum using UPS and they said they are supposed to box it for me. I made a comment about theft and FedEx and he said keep that receipt because it proves the phone was in the store when I dropped it off.
