I ordered the flip case and it seems to lower my signal strength, anyone else having this issue.

mine didn't seem to have any effect on signal strength

That's weird I'm losing signal with the case and from what I have read the radio on Samsung isnt too good. I always had full bars on my Thunder bolt.

Dont let the bars fool you. Its only a representation. Also the readings for signal strength are taken differently between the TB and the Note. Cant remember the whole explanation behind it but its different.

I believe the antenna is built into the back cover you might want to make sure it's getting a good connection it should be the two gold looking connections at the top of the back cover. On the phone is the two beside the sim card. Can anyone else verify this because I'm making an educated guess.

Okay thank you guys, I was getting worried I would have to return to the thunderbolt.

I have the flip case and haven't noticed any signal degradation between my SGS3 and the Note2. The signal actually seems more consistent with the note than with the S3
