Android Central Question

When I reset my phone last month, I set up a 6-digit passcode (August). My phone (Samsung Galaxy A01) asked for a passcode when I woke up this morning and tried to unlock it using Touch ID, but it was a 4-digit passcode. My old 4-digit passcode was ineffective, and I am unable to input a 6-digit code.
Since the day I reset my phone, I'm very sure I haven't touched a single setting connected to the passcode. My phone is currently useless, as I attempted to resolve the issue with a restart or power off.

Is there a method to unlock the phone without having to input the ineffective PIN?
