If it ends up having a Snapdragon, Samsung hands down.
If not, you need to weigh if a bigger battery and expandable storage are enough to outweigh that.

Otherwise the Pixel (I only honestly find the 'a' lineup impressive, not so much the flagships) is a solid choice. Don't be deceived though by the articles very brief overview. Pixels do and always have heavily relied on image processing to make up for what are mediocre camera modules to make good, but not natural, looking pictures.
