Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) Android 9.0 One UI battery problems

After updating my Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) to Android 9.0 One UI, battery is being used up a lot faster. Does anyone else have the same problem as I do? Does anyone know any solutions to fix this?

1st, do a cache partition wipe and reboot.
After an OS update this big, it's usually a good idea, and the 1st thing to do if you have these new issues.

I had the same problem, wiped cache partition, did another reset and no luck. I rolled it back to android 8 and it's like a brand new phone, responsive and 1000 times better battery life. Phone is only 8 months old too.
Roll it back to 8 and you will be happy.
