Samsung Galaxy Ace ll / To Get Insync With iPad ??

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace ll cellphone.. The object is to get my iPad insync with my Cellphone to send a Text from my iPad... On my iPad I went to Settings > Messages / iMessages > Send & Read.. The line that said to Add Number / Email , wouldn't let me to No Avail.. At the Top of the page where it was Highlighted "Learn More" I clicked and followed the prompts, even an example showing Cell # and 2 extra email addresses.. Advice Appreciated , What am I missing..
