Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos - Lagging and Slow Performance

My Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos was updated to Jellybean 4.2.2. At this time the phone is lags every now and then, also the phone is running slow. I did some troubleshooting procedure to fix the issue.
? Tried erasing all data and restore to factory default; same issue.
? Had the to uninstall the updates for built-in apps; same issue.
? Had to use a class 10 micro SD card; issue continued.

Finally, I brought the phone to a Samsung Service Provider. They said that have refreshed the software and it should be running fine.
It went well for a couple of hours and the issue started to re-occur.

Is this a confirmed hardware issue?

I believe that I am not the only one who is having the same issue.

If you know of an effective resolution, please share as this would be very much appreciated.

My phone slowed down after upgrading it to 4.2.2 and then it is freezing where it shows Samsung.

Even in my case after upgrading to 4.2.2 JB, the phone lags a lot, whereas it used to perform smoothly while it was running 4.1.2 JB. Tried installing Ram booster pro, and now I feel that using this app in aggressive mode has helped my phone perform well to quite an extent. It now lags less than before, but the problem persists. Any solution is most welcome...

I've the EXACT same issue. Using Snapchat on it is SO frustrating!
