So I got a samsung galaxy grand neo with android 4.2.2 jelly bean and installed popcorntime. After I used the app(which didnt work because of 720p) the brightness was set to auto, my phone doesnt has a auto brightness setting. So thats weird...
I already looked in the settings but I couldnt find a solution. Also, in the notification bar, there is the brightness icon with an "A"(automatic??) and I can change it to -5 or +5 and it doesnt change anything, only after bootup.

If there's a solution, lett me know!
Thanks in advance.

I install a brightness app from play store and it was back normal :)

The app: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.curvefish.widgets.brightnesslevel
