Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime question

I have a Samsung Grand Prime, Android 5.1.1
I have installed TextMe on it several times, but though the app is installed and works fine, I do not see it under Settings | More connection settings | Default Messaging App. TextMe is the app I need as default messaging app. How can I do this?

HOW TO CHANGE THE DEFAULT SMS APP ON A SAMSUNG Hey, all you need to do is to go to your settings, to more networks, select the default messaging app, and then choose which ever message app you want to keep as default for your device. You can follow the same steps to change your default messaging app whenever you feel the need.
